Dorothea Reese-Heim

original drawings and collages | Unique pieces

The artist Dorothea Reese-Heim has created a significant oeuvre of drawings and objects. During her many years as a professor at art colleges, she expanded the repertoire of “textile art” in a revolutionary way. Using materials never before used in art, she created objects and expansive installations. In doing so, she inspired generations of young artists.

She is represented in the Koenigshof Collection with original drawings in the finest lines. Her poetic collages, which are reminiscent of abstract landscapes, can also be found in the suites.
